Code of Ethics

Preamble

The CJCMA conference, dedicated to research in mathematics, aims to foster respectful and inclusive intellectual exchange among participants. This code of conduct sets out the ethical principles and rules of behavior to which all participants, speakers, and organizers commit.

Scientific Integrity

  • Presentations must report original work or properly referenced results, in full compliance with citation and intellectual property rules.
  • Any form of plagiarism, falsification, or manipulation of results is strictly prohibited.

Respect and Care

  • Everyone commits to respecting the diversity of opinions, backgrounds, and origins.
  • No form of harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
  • Exchanges must remain courteous and constructive, especially during Q&A sessions or small-group discussions.

Environmental Commitment

  • Mindful of the environmental impact of travel, we strongly encourage participants traveling from metropolitan France to favor low-emission public transport, in particular trains and buses.
  • This recommendation reflects the conference’s commitment to a respectful environment—not only scientifically and socially, but also with regard to our planet.

Compliance with the Charter

  • Any breach of this charter may be reported, in confidence, to the organizing team ([email address or point of contact]).
  • In the event of inappropriate behavior or a serious violation, the organizers reserve the right to take necessary measures, up to and including exclusion from the event.

Conclusion

By participating in CJCMA, each person acknowledges having read this charter and agrees to abide by its principles. The charter aims to ensure an ethical, respectful, and conducive environment for the conference.
