THE ORGANIZING TEAM AND PARTNERSHIPS

The organization is carried out by a collective of young researchers from three institutions on the Paris-Est campus: the École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), Université Gustave Eiffel (UGE), and Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). This initiative is supported by SMAI and coordinated by the Bézout Federation, which ensures synergy among the three partner institutions.

The mathematics laboratories involved are the Center for Teaching and Research in Mathematics and Scientific Computing (CERMICS, ENPC), the Laboratory of Analysis and Applied Mathematics (LAMA, UPEC and UGE), and the Gaspard-Monge Computer Science Laboratory (LIGM, UGE and ENPC).

DATES AND LOCATION

The congress will be held at the École nationale des ponts et chaussées in Champs-sur-Marne, from Monday, March 2, 2026 (starting at 1:00 p.m.) to Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (ending at 4:00 p.m.). The ENPC facilities, reserved in coordination with the school and the CERMICS administration, will host all scientific activities throughout the three days.

SCIENTIFIC FORMAT

The chosen format, largely inspired by previous editions, aims to foster discussions, networking, and the presentation of ongoing research. It will include:

  • 3 plenary lectures (1 hour each) by established speakers,

  • 5 thematic parallel sessions (1 hour 30 minutes each) featuring oral presentations, one of which (on the first day) will take the form of a special session with invited speakers, possibly linked to themes supported by awarded grants,

  • 1 poster session (1 hour),

  • 1 thematic round table (1 hour 30 minutes).

EXPECTED AUDIENCE

We mainly expect PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from French laboratories. Disciplinary, institutional, and geographical diversity will be encouraged. Participation in the congress will be entirely free of charge for all attendees. Maintaining free participation, a tradition upheld in previous editions, is a key priority of the organizing committee. It ensures broad and equitable representation of young researchers, regardless of their laboratory affiliation or funding situation, and contributes to strengthening the community-oriented and inclusive nature of the congress.
