From March 2 to March 4 2026 will be held the fifth edition of the CJC-MA at the école nationale des ponts et chaussées. This annual conference (2021, 2022, 2023 et 2024) from the SMAI initiative is targeted at young researchers in applied mathematics.
It will be held with a threefold objective: to create a framework for scientific exchanges between young researchers and more experienced ones on various mathematical research topics and their applications; to give visibility to the work of young researchers through presentations and posters; to create a framework for discussion on opportunities for a scientific and/or academic career.
LANGUAGES OF THE CONGRESS
Posters and short abstracts must be written in English so that all participants can understand them. However, during the parallel sessions, each participant will be free to present their work either in English or in French, according to their preference. Finally, the plenary lectures will be given in English, while the round table will be held in French.
The inscription is entirely free of charge but mandatory. The conference will fund accommodation and travel expenses for a few early-career researchers. Priority will be given to those without personal grants and those giving a presentation. Funding requests must be submitted during registration.
Deadline : January 5th, 2026.
Fundings will only be attributed to participants affiliated to a French research laboratory.
CONTRIBUTION
All young researchers, whatever their mathematics fields and applications, are invited to submit an abstract for a 20 minute presentation or a poster.
To apply, please upload your abstract or your poster in the "My submissions" section of your space.
The presentations will be followed by 10 minutes of questions.
